Practical information

Measures taken regarding COVID-19:

  • Stay home when you feel sick, have a fever, cough, or sneeze.
  • Stay home if you had contact with someone who was ill during the past two weeks.

We, therapists, will

  • wear a face mask;
  • disinfect our hands before and after each treatment and wash our hands regularly;
  • disinfect and clean the surfaces after each treatment, who may have been in contact with body fluids;
  • aerate the practice as much as possible.

You, as a patient

  • are recommended to wear a face mask (fabric or if possible a surgical face mask) to prevent asymptomatic transmission of COVID-19 between patient and therapist.
  • will come alone and enter the practice just a few minutes before your appointment. If you are early, please wait outside (for example in your vehicle).

What to bring for a first consultation:

  • Electronic ID card
  • Self-adhesive health insurance sticker
  • Medical referral from the general practitioner (GP)
  • If necessary: information of the health insurance group
  • Medical imaging (x-rays, ultrasonography, MRI,…) and the related analysis record

After each consultation the payment should be made in cash. Electronic payments can only be made by using the Bancontact app.

An appointment that is not cancelled on time, will be charged.

Rates and reimbursement:
When you are in the possession of a medical referral of your GP or specialist, there is a reimbursement of your health insurance according the reimbursement rules of the Health Security (Federal Public Service). For manual therapy, an additional fee will be charged.

The therapists in this practice did not adhere to the national convention of the physiotherapists.

Home visit:
A manual therapy consultation takes place in a fully equipped and purpose adapted consultation room, not at a patient’s home. Responsible manual therapeutic care requires a specific treatment room in addition to detailed tools and measuring instruments.
